Lunch & Learn with Collin — 3D Printing
We’re excited to introduce a new enrichment opportunity for our 4th–6th grade students!

Collin Grant will be hosting a Lunch & Learn series on 3D Printing beginning Monday, November 10, 2025. These mini sessions will take place during lunch (12:00 or 12:30, depending on grade level) in Mrs. Rucas’s office and will last about 20 minutes.

Each week, students will get hands-on exposure to 3D printing concepts, including how 3D printers work, the design process from idea to prototype, and real-world applications in engineering, medicine, and education.

Students interested in participating will need to complete a short paper application that was sent home today. Please help your child fill out their portion of the application and sign the permission slip before returning it to school. Dr. Delka and Mrs. Rucas will review all applications, and selections will be based on academics, behavior, and attendance to ensure students are ready to benefit from this enrichment experience.

The pilot program will run November 10–December 12, 2025, with the possibility of continuing in the spring if student engagement is high.

We look forward to seeing our students explore their creativity and curiosity through this exciting new opportunity!
