My name is Dr. Taylor Delka, and I am married to my husband of 13 years, Elliot Delka. We have three children: Ember, Arrow, and Evangeline. I was born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in Seagoville, Texas, where I graduated from Seagoville High School in 2008. I then attended Arlington Baptist College, where I obtained my undergraduate degree. Since then, I have obtained various certifications in EC-6 Generalist, Math & Science 4-8, ELAR 4-12, ESL EC-12, and Special Education EC-12.

A few years later, I earned my master's degree in educational leadership with a principal certification from Arlington Baptist University.

Throughout the years, I served as a paraprofessional, substitute teacher, teacher, UIL academic coach, campus testing coordinator, high school sponsor for academic clubs, and a special education department lead for Stephenville, Three Way, Decatur, Malta, DeKalb, and Eagle Mountain Saginaw. In 2018 I went back to school to earn my Doctorate in Educational Leadership and defended successfully in November 2021.

In spring 2022, I was asked to be an adjunct professor and build educational courses for future educators, which I continue to build and teach each semester at Arlington Baptist University.

By the summer of 2022, I accepted an EMS ISD summer school assistant principal position where I served over 500 students. I have worked alongside administrator teams to support them further and partner to serve students with diverse needs and backgrounds.

In the school years 2022-2023, I received Teacher of the Year at my campus, and again, I received Teacher of the Year for the 2023-2024 school year.

I have participated in multiple training sessions for educators and have presented independently numerous times.

This past year, I served as the special education department lead, taught behavioral units, specifically students with autism and emotional disorders, and was the functional skills and resource Reading Language Arts teacher. While I have loved my experiences as a teacher, I believe I belong working in administration and supporting teachers while on the frontlines of public education.

Three Way ISD is a place that holds tremendous heart, personally and professionally, and I seek to serve the school where I can proudly say my children attend. As secondary principal, I plan to support the district's vision and build relationships with students and staff to ensure the success of the Three Way ISD community.

Each student has an individualized graduation plan that meets the needs of their definition of success. We support academics, athletics, and co-curricular activities that promote our students' vision and mission.

I look forward to working alongside each educator and leader to continue to answer the question, "Are we doing what is best for students?" with a continual YES!

Go BRAVES!
