College, Career, and Military Readiness Goals 2025-2026

Counselor and Principal will do a final audit of 2025-26 graduates before final fall PEIMS submission. Counselor and Secondary Principal will verify completion coding for all certificate programs and CTE/Dual credit course completion before final fall PEIMS submission. Counselor and Principal will verify coding for any armed forces ready students before final fall PEIMS submission. The district will track student choice and monitor progress and successful completion in all areas of College, Career, and Military Readiness. Students will have a clear understanding of the goal and will have a plan to work toward that goal with the end in mind for post-secondary awareness and success. The district will increase the number of college test prep courses to prepare students for success on college entry exams and academic requirements. Students will benefit from preparation for college entry exams such as SAT, ACT, and TSI. Explore additional certificate program opportunities from Ranger College and Texas State Technical College. New Dual credit courses will be evaluated and approved as an option in student planning (through TSTC and Ranger dual College). The district will provide career and technical education designed to assist students in developing the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary for a broad range of career opportunities as part of becoming future. Administer TSI to all Juniors and Seniors in spring 2026. Conduct quarterly tracking for seniors. The district will promote the option for students to earn an Associate’s Degree by the time they graduate from high school. Increase industry-based certification programs enrollment and completion for 2026 graduates. Continue plan for PK-12 CTE education options and pathways. Senior one-on-one meetings will include a military intention survey. At the beginning of their Senior year, any student that has been identified as not achieving a CCMR indicator prior to the start of their senior year will have a personal CCMR graduation plan to achieve at least one CCMR indicator.
