3-5 Math Blended Learning

Three Way ISD is excited to share that Blended Learning is now being used in our 3rd–5th grade math classrooms with Ms. Sandley!

Blended learning combines teacher-led instruction with technology to personalize learning for every student. This approach allows students to receive targeted support while also building independence and confidence in their math skills.

In Ms. Sandley’s classroom, students rotate through different learning experiences including:

• Teacher Table – Small group instruction where Ms. Sandley works closely with students to reteach, extend, or support concepts.
• Collaborative & Independent Practice – Students apply what they have learned through hands-on practice and problem solving.
• Digital Learning with Zearn – Students use the Zearn math program, which provides interactive lessons aligned to grade-level standards and adjusts to each student’s learning pace.

This model allows Ms. Sandley to spend more time working directly with students while also using real-time data from Zearn to guide instruction and support student growth.

Our goal is to ensure every student is challenged, supported, and growing in math while building the skills they need to become confident, independent learners.

We are proud of the great work happening in our classrooms and look forward to continuing to grow this model of learning!
