Hello Three Way ISD,
My name is Michael Pickett, and I am honored and excited to join Three Way ISD as your new secondary principal. I look forward to getting to know each of you and becoming part of this outstanding school community.
I have been in education for 26 years, serving as a teacher, coach, and administrator. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about building strong relationships, supporting students and staff, and creating positive learning environments where everyone can succeed.
I grew up in the small town of Boyd, Texas, and attended Tarleton State University, where I earned three degrees. My small-town roots have given me a deep appreciation for the close-knit relationships and traditions that make communities like Three Way so special.
My greatest blessing is my family. My beautiful wife and I will celebrate 13 years of marriage this August. Together, we have four sons ages 24, 20, 4, and 4 months old—yes, that’s quite the age gap, and life is never boring in our household!
I am truly excited to become part of the Three Way family and immerse myself in the wonderful culture and community that make this district so special. I look forward to partnering with our staff, students, parents, and community members as we continue building on the great traditions of excellence at Three Way ISD.
