🍎 Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)

A school cafeteria scene featuring a red lunch tray filled with fresh vegetables, salad, grilled chicken, grapes, bread, and milk. An apple sits beside the tray, with a softly blurred cafeteria in the background and red-and-black decorative accents with school and food illustrations.
Three Way ISD participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a federal program that allows eligible schools and districts to provide free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students at no charge to families, regardless of household income.

Our participation in CEP helps ensure that every student has access to nutritious school meals each school day.

Why Do We Ask for Household Income Information Each Year?

Families may wonder why we collect household income information during registration when all of our students receive meals at no charge.

The information collected through the annual household income survey helps our district maintain eligibility for programs and funding that support our students and schools. While students do not need to qualify individually for free or reduced-price meals under CEP, the information provided by families helps our district demonstrate the level of need within our school community.

Thank you to our families for providing this information each year. Your participation helps support resources and opportunities for our students!
